Swap Meet and Train Show

A feature of every New York Central System Historical Society Annual Meeting is a Swap Meet featuring dealers and vendors offering books, photos, models, slides, artifacts, and other memorabilia of the New York Central and its related railroads.

Our Swap Meet is 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, in the Marquis Ballroom on the 2nd floor of the Hyatt Regency Dearborn, and all Annual Meeting registrants have full access to the show as part of their package.

If you are not registered for the full Annual Meeting, there is a $5.00 per person (age 12 and over) admission charge for Swap Meet. This fee is paid at the door.

We have 43 tables in our show, and all table sales are on a first-come/first-sold basis. The earlier you request your tables, the better your chances of getting the ones you want. Pre-sale deadline is March 15, and all vendors will be notified in writing of their table assignments by April 1. Table sales after March 15 are on a space-available basis.

We're sorry to report that the group which was going to have an O-Scale model railroad with NYC locomotives and cars operating during the show has had to withdraw for several reasons. We are seeking to get a replacement, but this may not be feasible.
