Here's a first look at what we are planning for the Annual Meeting so you can start your own planning. There are a lot of things planned for each day, and they are worth participating in!

Thursday, April 29

Arrival Day

3:30 - 7:00 p.m.            Registration Desk

4:00 p.m.                       Board of Directors' Meeting

 

Friday, April 30

8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.   Registration Desk

9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.   Tour of the Norfolk Southern (ex-Conrail, exx-PC, exx-NYC)
                                        Dearborn Dispatching Center and of several significant
                                        railroad sites in Detroit, including the former Michigan Central
                                        Station -- Click here for  tour details.

6:30 p.m.                       Our evening at The Henry Ford Museum -- dinner and free
                                        rein to visit the many fascinating exhibits at this world-class 
                                        museum, well worth our time -- Click here for party details. 

10:45 p.m.                     Board of Directors' Meeting continues (if necessary)

 

Saturday, May 1

Sunday, May 2

9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.      "Railroads From The River"  optional add-on  Detroit River
                                          railfanning cruise -- Click here for more on the cruise..

Since Sunday is Departure Day, we suggest that if you are flying out of Detroit, you select a flight after 3:30 p.m., so that you can participate in the Sunday cruise and still make your plane. We are planning to have a bus going from the event directly to Detroit Metro Airport; the other bus will return to the Hyatt.
